The lecture covers the most important provisions of EMV Common Personalization standard: the gyst, detailes of data preparation, personalization and security within the EMV CPS technology.
Specifically, the following questions are discussed:
- data preparation phases;
- principles and rules of grouping data into DGI;
- personalization data format, including data headers and application data.
The discussion of personalization process includes the chain of personalization commands and peculiarities of each command.
Besides, the peculiarities of security during post-personalization, features of cards and applets, required to support EMV Common Personalization technology are discussed.
